Several issues were published in 1995-1996 by Heath Row and featured contributions by zinemakers such as Larrybob (Holy Titclamps), Sir Kochaca Pantsleep (Baby Split Bowling News), Jerod Pore (Poppin' Zits, Factsheet Five), and others.
The APA was relaunched in late 2008 after about a decade hiatus. Two issues have been published since late 2008, featuring contributions by James Dawson, John Porcellino, Jeff Somers, Fred Wright, and others. The new publishing schedule is quarterly, and participation is no longer limited to alt.zines contributors, although it's encouraged.
