Whimsey

Whimsey is a science fiction fanzine by Jeanne Gomoll.

Whimsey was published in Madison, Wisconsin, U.S.A. in the 1980s and 1990s.

The first issue of Whimsey appeared in 1983, and was 16 pages. Issue 2, released in December 1983 was also 16 pages. The 3rd issue,appeared in March 1985, with the 4th issue following in November 1985. Issue 5 appeared in June 1986.

Issue 6, released in June 1987, featured Chapter 1 of Jeanne Gomoll's TransAtlantic Fan Fund (TAFF) Report, "Always Coming Hime.

The 7th, and final issue, published in August 1992, featured Chapter 2 of Gomoll's TAFF Report "Always Coming Home".

Contributing artists include Brad Foster, among others.

Jeanne Gomoll had previously co-edited Janus with Janice Bogstad. During the run of Whimsey, she also co-edited Six Shooter which was a UK/USA collaboration between Gomoll, Linda Krawecke (formerly Pickersgill) and Pam Wells, a one shot publication released in August 1987.
