The Knightly News
The Knightly News is a newsletter devoted to the television program Forever Knight.
As the organ for the Forever Knight Fan Club, The Knightly News was first published in the 1990s by Lora Haines. At least 13 issues were released from Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
The first issue was published in December, 1992. It featured essays by Lora Haines, Linda Schneider, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, and Carol Jean Zelman.
Issue 2 appeared in February 1993, and featured an interview with Nigel Bennett, and essays by Lora Haines, Dennis Roy, Linda Schneider, and Mark Stein.
Released in June 1993, issue 3 carried essays by Marg Baskin (Amantes de la Noche), Valerie Meachum, Linda Schneider, and Star Urioste. This issue included interview with Composer Fred Mullin and Supervising Editor Tim Williams.
Published in January 1994, issue 4 featured interviews with the stars of Forever Knight Catherine Disher and Geraint Wyn Davies, and essays by Marg Baskin and Pauletta Ridout, and poetry by Susan Glynn Mule.
Appearing in May 1994, issue 5 featured an interview with Deborah Duchene, and essays by Marg Baskin, Isabel Harlow, Winifred M. McBeth, Aloma Pedersen, Adriana I. Pena (The Collinsport Chronicles), Linda Roth, and Linda Schneider.
Issue 6 was published in September, 1994, and featured an interview with James Parriott, and essays by Marg Baskin, and Czigane A. Haines, with editorial by Lora Haines.
Issue 7 was released in January 1995, and featured an interview with director Mike Levine, and essays by Marg Baskin, Laurell K. Hamilton, Valerie Meachum, and Diane Rice, with editorial by Lora Haines.
Issue 8 appeared in June 1995, and featured an interview with John Kapelos, and essays by Linny Marcus, Pauletta Ridout, Linda Schneider, and Robin Ward, with editorial by Lora Haines.
Issue 9, from September 1995, featured an interview with Gillian Horvath by Valerie Meachum, and essays by Lora Haines, Pam Perry, and Pauletta Ridout, with editorial by Lora Haines.
Issue 10, from November 1995, was a special fiction issue with short stories by Lorraine Duffeld, C.G. Lynn, Linny Marcus, Tara O'Shea, Laurie Salopek, and Lori Smith, as well as poetry by Daymond Hoffman, and Catharine Pryce.
Issue 11, from April 1996, featured an interview with Shelly Goldstein, and essays by Rebecca Chessman, Deborah Duchene, Lora Haines, Isabel Harlow, Linny Marcus, Christopher Pineau, Pauletta Ridout, and Linda Schneider, and editorial by Lora Haines.
Issue 12, from February, 1997 featured an interview with Gary Rieck, Forever Knight script author and Los Angeles production coordinator by Renate A. Johnston, and writing by Becky Chessman, Susan Garrett (Time Winds), Lora Haines, and Karen Merkel, with photographs by Renate Johnson, and editorial by Lora Haines.
Issue 13, published in Autumn 1997 is possibly the last issue. It is the annual 'Fiction and Artwork Issue' and features "Hunter's Moon", a novella by C. G. Lynn; poetry by Sue Burke, M. Droz, Fran Helms, Michael, and Maria Elena Tolentino; and art work by Jacy, and Star.
