The Gallifrey Gazette

The Gallifrey Gazette was a media science fiction fanzine devoted to Doctor Who.

Edited by Mary Carson and Dean Shewring, this title was published in Ontario, Canada in the 1970s, with Mary Carson from Oakville and Dean Shewring located in Peterborough.

At least two issues appeared, the first in November 1978, and the second in February 1979.

The Texas A & M University Library, Mike Hall/Chester Cuthbert Fanzine Collection, includes issue 2.5, published in September 1979, and listing Dean Shewring as editor.

Mary Carson and Dean Shewring were two of the Doctor Who fans who appeared on the Doctor Who after-show The UN-Doctor, hosted by Judith Merril ( Temper!, Science*Fiction) on TVOntario in 1979.

Dean Shewring went on to edit Cosmic Hobo and The Troughton Recorder.
