Inconsequential Parallax is an Australian science fiction fanzine published by Narrelle Harris and Tim Richards.
The fanzine was published in South Perth, Australia, from the 1980's into the 1990's. Issue five was released September 1990, issue six in April 1991.
The May 1992 issue featured the first publication of "The Monster Within", a horror fiction short story by S. Darnbrook Colson, later reprinted in Ressurection and Reclamation: The Collected Works of S. Darnbrook Colson by Elrod Stanton.
Inconsequential Parallax was nominated for the Ditmar Award for Best Fanzine in 1992.
The companion fanzine to Inconsequential Parallax was Inconsequential Pyramids, also co-published with Tim Richards.
Inconsequential Parallax is included in the Susan Smith-Clarke Fanzine Collection in The National Library of Australia.
Tim Richards is also the editor of the fanzine Mentalis.
She is the author of the books Fly By Night, The Opposite of Life, and the trilogyWitch's Honour.
