BOX (Babes on X-Terms) was a zine published in 2002 in Sydney, N.S.W., Australia, by Safari Lee. It's target reader was female-identifying people with an interest in computing, emerging technologies and social activism utilising the rapidly developing access to the internet. BOX had a definite arty, feminist bent. Open-publishing, copyleft and anarchist tech collectives were explored, as were prominent women of computer and tech history, such as Ada Lovelace.
Only one edition was created, despite keen interest by the local readership for more at the time. Other content included book reviews, DIY hardware hacking and the only episode of "Brenda: The Girl Who Does Stuff".
